Rodrigo y Gabriela - March 2011's RBN's Artist of the Month!
The Authority are no strangers to RBN's Artist of the Month program. In fact Rodrigo y Gabriela are the fourth affiliated artst to hold this honor. Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero are a Mexican musical duo who specialize in playing fast, rhythmic acoustic guitars. The duo started out in pubs in Ireland but in just a few short years have played all over the world and on various television shows. Rodrigo y Gabriela have recorded six albums topping a million units sold. Buster Voodoo (inspired by Jimi Hendrix) and Hanuman (inspired by Carlos Santana) are the two tracks from the 2009 release 11:11 authored by The Authority and available on the Rock Band Network.
